TL;DR: In May, we launched powerful new self-serve tools for faster, smarter prompt creation including bulk upload, SEO keyword conversion, and AI-assisted generation. Geo location support is rolling out to help you track prompt performance by country. We also enhanced Sources with better drill-downs, exports, and filtering, making it easier to analyze and act on your AI search visibility.

Self-serve Tools for Prompt Generation

We’re introducing new self-serve tools to give you more control, flexibility, and the ability to configure Prompts at scale.

Bulk Add Prompts

You can now add multiple prompts, edit them, apply personas, and select the specific platforms/models you would like them to run on.

Convert SEO Keywords to Prompts

We’ve added the ability for you to automatically translate your Google or SEO-style keywords into AI-friendly prompts.

Worth noting: You can also upload keywords style prompts by toggling off "Convert keywords to prompts.” For instance, this may make sense if you were looking to run prompts specifically for Google AI Overviews.

Generate Prompts with AI

The ability to create realistic prompts aligned with your key audiences (personas) and topics of interest is now available.

• Need to focus on a specific area or fine-tune wording? Add custom instructions to help AI generate the questions that are most important for your business.
• You’ll always be able to review and edit generated prompts before saving them.

Expanded Geo Support

We're rolling out additional support for monitoring prompts across geographies over the next few weeks. Available now in the Context section, you can set:

• Select the primary country your brand operates in (defaults to U.S.)
• Select a default country for your organization in Context and then assign specific country level details to each persona.

As we roll out geolocation support, you'll begin to get country-specific results for prompts on platforms that support geolocated search, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews. If you operate in multiple geographies, you can now create additional personas, target them by country, and then attach them to prompts to see your performance in that geo.

Also in June, we're adding support for filtering Scrunch dashboards by geolocation so you can compare performance across different geos.

Sources UI Enhancements

• Drill down to see the specific prompts an individual URL is appearing in. The entire URL in Sources is now clickable, previously it was only the “external link” icon.
• See source usage over time and understand if a source is increasing or decreasing in relevance for a particular question.

Sources Performance Export Update

Now live for all customers on the Sources page, you can export a spreadsheet that details how every source is performing across prompts on a weekly basis. You can drill down into specific prompts for more insights.

Customers have used Sources data to prioritize third party websites to reach out to and pages on their own site to refresh with current content. You can use this export to share data with your whole team, even if they're not in Scrunch.

Filtering Updates

Navigating Sources is now faster and simpler with the latest filtering updates.

• Filter by Owner: Filter the Sources list based on whether the source is owned by your brand, a competitor, or a third party.

All Other Updates

• Site Audit: Site Audit is now more robust about producing Content Scores when the website has aggressive bot blocking (e.g. Cloudflare) in place.
• Personas: You can now use shorter names for personas created in Context (previously had to be >= 10 characters).
• Email Preferences: You can now manage your email preferences by clicking on your name, then “Manage Account” > “Email Preferences.”
