Scrunch AI was founded in 2023 by Chris Andrew and Robert MacCloy. We are supported by $4M in funding from Mayfield and notable angel investors including TJ Parker (PillPack), Bryant Chou (Webflow), Steve Garrity (UserClouds) and Clara Shih (Meta AI, previously Salesforce, Hearsay).
Chris is a seasoned leader in building SaaS products, previously the first employee and Chief Product Officer for Hearsay Systems (acquired by Yext). In his spare time Chris is a neapolitan certified pizza chef and is passionate about trails, jazz, food and wine.
Robert is an experienced technologist and engineering leader. Prior to Scrunch AI, Robert was CTO at Hearsay Systems (acquired by Yext) and an early engineer at marketing analytics pioneer Quantcast. Robert has no spare time, but he enjoys woodworking and reading history.
